Francis A. DiGiovanna is a Certified Public Accountant and provides professional services as a sole practitioner from Waterbury, Connecticut. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. He began his accounting career as a staff auditor for the international accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand, and in later years held positions as a staff accountant for local CPA firms in Waterbury, Connecticut.

He has maintained his accounting practice in Waterbury for the past twenty-two years. His practice is primarily comprised of providing accounting, income tax planning and compliance services to closely held businesses with an emphasis on automobile dealerships and high net worth individuals. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.

In April 1995, he was appointed as an "alternate" member of the Board of Finance for the Town of Middlebury CT. Since his appointment in April 1995 he was later reappointed to three additional two-year terms in April 1997, April 1999, and April 2001. In November 2001, he was elected as a full member of the Town of Middlebury Board of Finance and currently serves in that capacity.

He has been a member of the Waterbury Crime Stoppers Board of Directors since its inception in 1982. As a part of his involvement with Waterbury Crime Stoppers during the past twenty-two years he has held the positions of Treasurer and Vice Chairman and is the current Chairman. He joined the Crime Stoppers International Board of Directors, October of 1996 as a Regional Representative for Region 6. He had been re-elected to that position and has held it until December 2004. He has also held various Committee positions and was the Chairman of the Annual Conference Committee. He was elected to the position of Treasurer of Crime Stoppers International in April 2002 and reelected in September 2003 and had served in that capacity until December 2004. In August 2004, he was selected to join as a charter member of the Board of Trustees of Crime Stoppers International Foundation, Inc, and was elected to the position of Treasurer for the Foundation.
